NY Judge Halts Opening of Marijuana Retailers

A New York judge halted the planned opening of recreational marijuana retailers in the state. This extends an injunction on licensing beyond the few businesses initially exempted.

A judge in New York state revised his ruling on Tuesday, and stated that his restriction of the majority of marijuana retail licensing would now also include the about two dozen businesses that the supervision said should be excluded. This brief suspension of launching the fresh market will stay until all the contradictions are resolved.
